Green Bean Casserole
No Thanksgiving spread is complete without a proper green bean casserole! Check out our super simple green bean casserole recipe below!
Ingredients:
- • 4 cups or 1.5 lbs. of cooked & trimmed green beans
- 1 10.5 oz. can of cream of mushroom soup
- ½ cup of heavy cream
- 1 tbsp of low-sodium soy sauce
- ½ tsp of fresh ground black pepper
- 1½ cups of french fried onions
- ½ cup of melted butter
Equipment:
- Large mixing bowl
- Casserole dish
- Whisk
- Aluminum foil
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- In a mixing bowl combine heavy cream, soy sauce, ground black pepper and cream of mushroom soup
- Combine green beans with liquids and ½ cup of french fried onions, pour into a casserole dish
- Top with remaining french fried onions and drizzle with melted butter
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes covered, then remove aluminum foil for additional 5 minutes until golden brown, serve warm
