We are expanding our culinary team and are excited to provide this opportunity for the right candidate. Our commercial kitchen operates a menu as well as a variety of gourmet ready–to–eat and prepared grab–and–go items. As a member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for helping to prepare our food items, as well as keeping the kitchen clean and organized. What You Will Do:
- Prepare quality dishes efficiently to fill customer orders in accordance with food safety standards.
- Maintain the freshness of all food supplies, rotating old ones out as needed.
- Accommodate any dietary restrictions as requested.
- Store food items at the appropriate temperatures, properly clean cooking equipment after use, and
- ensure that the kitchen is pristine at the end of each shift.
- Counter service and relationship building with customers.
- Demonstrating knowledge and understanding of all meat/seafood in department.
- Preparation of Store Marinades and Sausages.
What You Will Bring:
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- The ability to work on your feet for long shifts.
- At least 2 years of previous food preparation experience.
- The ability to adapt to a busy kitchen environment while interacting with customers.
- Excellent customer service standards and a positive attitude.
- Familiarity with standard equipment, ingredients, and recipes.
- Adhere to health and safety standards, cleaning the kitchen frequently and practice good personal hygiene.
